As internal communications manager at Risk Management Solutions, a catastrophe modeling company and insure-tech consultant, my internal content strategy centered on two areas: celebrating client wins and sharing success stories from each business unit to the rest of the company. This piece was at the heart of both.
Client: Risk Management Solutions’ Models & Data business unit
Role: Communications strategist, writer, and designer (using Canva web-based software).
Strategy: As part of a new functional newsletter series, this piece tells the story of RMS’ partnership with the Texas Windstorm Insurance Association. TWIA uses RMS data both before and after hurricane landfall, in two distinct processes. This infographic gives background of the need following Hurricane Ike and new partnerships created, and gives simple step-by-step details of how the RMS data is used at each stage.
Delivery: Distributed internally via MailChimp newsletter, and also featured on RMS’ intranet hosted on Sharepoint.
